Dr. Vedala Srinivas (Hon)

The Vishwa Manavadhikar Parishad (VMP) marked the 77th Anniversary of International Human Rights Day with a grand National Conference & Award Ceremony – 2025, bringing together dignitaries, defence personnel, policymakers, and social leaders from across India.

In the ceremony, the VMP Bharat Gaurav Award was presented to Dr. Vedala Srinivas (Hon) from Hyderabad, recognising his commendable contributions and sustained commitment to social service. Dr. Vedala Srinivas (Hon) has been widely acknowledged for his humanitarian initiatives, community welfare efforts and his work through various social and cultural platforms.

The award was conferred in the presence of Chief Guest Col. Nirdesh Shah, Lt. Col. Amit Prabhu along with their Battalion CO 136 TA ECO BN MAHAR also prominent leaders including Dr. M. R. Ansari (Adv.) (National President of WHRC), Mr. Haji Sayed Layek(National Vice President of WHRC) & Adv. Jyoti Toshniwal-Malu (Maharashtra State President – WHRC) and National & State-level officials of the council were also in attendance.

Dr. Vedala Srinivas (Hon) thanked the World Human Rights Council (Aurangabad) for the award and said he feels encouraged to continue his work for society. He shared that his efforts in social welfare, community support, spiritual guidance and public service will continue with the same commitment. His work has earned appreciation in many fields.
